Slab Leak/Pinhole Leak

Do you have water mysteriously coming up through your floor? Do you feel warm spots on your floor?  Is your water bill higher than normal? Is your water heater constantly running?  Do you hear water running but can't find the source? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may have a leak in your water pipes.  Many homes in Southern California have water pipes that run through the concrete slab foundations which makes the problem of a leaky pipe even more difficult and costly to repair. Furthermore, recent studies have shown that over time, water can erode away the interior lining of copper and galvanized pipes. This occurrence, called "pitting", can eventually cause very small, pinhole leaks. The large majority of pinhole leaks occur on horizontal water lines located in the concrete slab foundations. Once you have one pinhole leak, it is very likely that others are on the way.
